THE COMPOSE’ collection
This collection is inspired by two still-life oil paintings by artists from different eras. Both depict food and various things in similar ways, but with distinct and beautiful styles. The first painting is "Still-life, Breakfast with Glass of Champagne and Pipe" by Jan Davidsz. de Heem is a Dutch 17th-century artist who emphasizes realism while evoking a dreamy, classical style. The second painting is "Compotier, Glass, and Apples" by Paul Cezanne, a nineteenth-century French modernist painter. This work uses rough, quick brushstrokes to emphasize the emotion of the moment, following Post-Impressionism principles.
